AI consulting for St. Augustine businesses

You know you should be doing something with AI. We work out what, in what order, and whether your data can support it, before you spend money building anything.

Most St. Augustine business owners we talk to have already tried AI in some form. Someone on staff uses ChatGPT for emails, a vendor added an AI button to a tool you pay for, and a few people have pitched you a chatbot. What nobody has done is look at the business as a whole and say where AI would actually save time or money, and where it would just add another thing to manage.

That is the job. We sit down with you and the people who do the work, walk through how the operation runs today, and look at the data you already have: where it lives, how clean it is, and who owns it. We are based here in St. Augustine and members of the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce, so that first session happens in your office, not over video.

What you get at the end is a written plan: which tasks are worth automating, which need an AI agent that can read and decide, which should stay with a person, and the order to do them in. It also covers the risks: what data must stay private, what happens when the AI gets something wrong, and who checks its work. If the honest answer is that a better-configured version of a tool you already pay for will do, we say so.

What a plan turns into

The plans we write are the same kind we build from. Dropzone started as one painful monthly process at a wealth management firm and is now the firm's primary system for commissions and payroll. Budget Bot started as a founder's mixed business and personal spending and became an AI agent that works out what is actually being spent and messages when a budget is going wrong. In both cases the mapping came first, and it decided what got built.

What you get

  • Comprehensive assessment of your current data and workflows
  • AI opportunity analysis: what to automate and why
  • Practical guidelines for data handling, access, and team ownership
  • Risk review covering reliability, privacy, and operational safeguards
  • Prioritized implementation plan with sequenced next steps
  • Documentation package for internal stakeholders

Common questions

We are not sure we are ready for AI. Is that a problem?

No, that is the usual starting point. The assessment tells you what data you have, how it is structured, where the risks are, and which changes would genuinely help, before you commit budget to building anything.

Do you meet in person in St. Augustine?

Yes. We are based in St. Augustine and work in person with businesses across St. Johns County. The mapping session at the start happens on site; after that most of the work is remote.

What does AI consulting cost?

It is scoped to the size of the business and how many processes we look at, so we quote after a short call. You get a fixed figure in writing before any work starts.

Will you just recommend that we hire you to build everything?

No. Some of what the plan recommends is better configuration of tools you already own, and some of it is not worth doing yet. The plan is yours to act on with us, with another builder, or with your own team.
